The kids and I took a walk yesterday up over and around the hill. We started up Den and Penny's driveway and then took a path that led to the top of Jack Miller's hill, then took a different path that led to our hill and down over to the spring (the kids needed a drink) then back up over the hill. When we got to the top we saw 6 deer up on what Olivia calls "Fire Mountain" (our hill) watched them til they ran, then we went home.

Tonight was the Varitey Show at Olivia's school. She sang a song with the neighbor girl Kira Smith and also was in a skit called Tyrone the Horrible. It was just some 1st and 2nd graders who were really good readers. She had 3 narrator parts. This video is of her singing Our Song by Taylor Swift.

If you all remember a few posts ago that I mentioned that I was in a weight loss challenge, well it has ended this weekend. I have lost a total of 24.8 pounds and 4-5 inches around my waist, hips, and ab area. I was really proud of how i did, there is another one coming up, but I think I'm gonna sit this one out and just do it on my own and see how I do. Who knows maybe by Labor Day no one will recognize me. Just kidding I hope to not change that much.

Well here is the newest member of our home. His name is Chi-Chi and he is a Chihuahua, he is only 71/2 weeks old. I always thought Chihuahuas were just the ugliest things in the world, but after seeing him I have changed my mind. He fits in one hand and likes to sleep either on your chest or on your shoulder, you don't even notice that he is there. The people we got him from said that he will only get about 3-4 pounds.

Well we have a couple of Karate kids on our hands. Olivia and Will have been taking Karate classes every Tuesday since the first of the year. They just got their sparring gear on Friday and have been practicing ever since. They don't have their little white uniforms yet but they will have to have them before they can test at the end of the month. So on Tuesday I will get them ordered. Olivia does really well and surprisingly enough she loves it, she didn't think she would like fighting someone other than Will at first but once she did it she loves it. Will does really well too, and likes the fighting just as much if not more than Olivia.
