On Sunday we went on a picnic with Brad, Kim, and Kirestin to our secret spot. It was nice, the kids played in the creek or Babbling Brook as Olivia calls it. The kids spent most of the time looking for salamanders or pretending to be kayaking they all had a good time. The weather was perfect in the shade, but we felt the heat once we came out of the woods heading back home.

On Saturday Denny, the kids, and I went down to my dad's for a picnic and 4-wheeler ride. It was for my sister who just got out of the Air Force. Denny had a good time or at least he looked like he did. They took a 3 hour ride and they all came back soaked to the bone. After they came back Denny, my sister's friend Seth, and my cousin's boyfriend, and someone else decided to have some races to see who had the faster 4-wheeler. Seth being about the same size a Devon and being the lightest person won most of the races.

On Saturday was the Father's Day picnic, those pictured are just some of those who came for some great food and games. We played a game of softball and 4 or 5 games of volleyball and the guys played basketball. Everybody had a great time with no major injuries from the games we played so that has to be a good thing.

It had taken a long time for Will and Travis to play together, but in this picture Travis is trying to convince Will that the scooter that he is on is slower than a different one, so he can have it. Will didn't fall for it but Travis decided that that other one was better anyhow.

Well good ole Nitro has finally gone to his new home in Allentown. After running away and being gone for almost a week, the dog catcher found him on Saturday. Denny and Den went to Phillipsburg SPCA to get him. Thankfully they only charged us a total of $28 and he was able to come home to us. His new owner was happy to get him on Sunday. He said that he would let us know how he was doing and stuff, so I hope they get along good, because I don't want him back!!!

Denny's mom always says that when Denny was younger they called him "tractor boy" because he drove one everywhere he was allowed to. Well it looks like we have a future "tractor boy" on our hands. He will have to wait a few years before he is able to handle that big John Deere.

Olivia had her Tee-ball tournament on Saturday. They played very well, they had to combine with another team because neither one had enough kids to play. The ones pictured are the ones that showed up they are(left to right) Olivia, Kyle, Daniel, Dalton, and Mikey with thier coaches in the back (left to right) Mike and Rob. Even though they didn't win they played like they did. Everybody got a medal, and even with the season over for them Mike and rob still want to have practices once a week to help them get ready for next year. Will is even supposed to be there ready to play too, he will be so excited.

Over the weekend Den and Penny went camping at Curwensville Lake and we went to visit we didn't stay. The kids played at the playground while we stayed around the campfire although there wasn't a need of one. On Saturday evening Olivia and Will were playing in the sand box at the playground, all of the sudden she starts screaming like something was getting her. You wouldn't think that Will could keep up but he did. It turns out that she had a beattle under her skirt. She came running down holding her skirt up so the beattle wouldn't get her. Olivia was scared pretty bad, the bug wouldn't have hurt her it is just the idea of it. She recovered with some s'mores.
