Bri had puppies kinda unexpectedly. When we left for Timberwind we tied her up, well little did we know that she was pregnant. Didn't realize it until one day I went up with Will to feed Tooty and Bri, she looked really fat, well fatter than usual. We had wormed them a few weeks before Timberwind weekend, so we thought that was why she had gotten fat. Boy were we surprised. She had them December 15th at 2:32 in the afternoon and she had the last one at 3:30 the following morning, another long night dog watching. She had 9 total with 4 girls and 5 boys they are all black with white tipped toes and some have a white stripe acrossed their chest. We are at a loss as to who the father is.

Devon, Charlene, and Maria stoped in for a visit last night. There must be something about the house that makes kids want to run around and round, because that is what my kids do and that is exactly what Maria did last night as well with Olivia right behind her to make sure she didn't fall or get hurt. Then Dev and Charlene went up to Den and Penny's for dinner and Maria stayed to play. We colored and played with Will's Disney Cars cars on a little race track that he has. It was a lot of fun for Olivia and Will and Maria too they ran around til they left. I bet she slept really good last night, I know Olivia and Will did they like their little cousin. It was hard work getting these pictures too, she doesn't stay still long. They wore me out just watching them if only I had a quarter of their energy that would be awesome.

We were on out way up to Denny's grandfather's funeral up in Williamsport on Friday and this is what we found along the way. It was laying along Interstate 80 just up from the 123 on ramp. The first picture is of the dead one obviously and the other picture is of its cub hiding in the woods waiting for its mother to come back and not knowing why she isn't. In the process of trying to get its picture we chased it away from the road and up over the hill. Denny then called the Clearfield state police and they got in contact with the game commission to take care of it. The police said that they sometimes give the meat away if there is nothing wrong with it. Just think it made it through bear season just to get hit along the road.
