Bri had puppies kinda unexpectedly. When we left for Timberwind we tied her up, well little did we know that she was pregnant. Didn't realize it until one day I went up with Will to feed Tooty and Bri, she looked really fat, well fatter than usual. We had wormed them a few weeks before Timberwind weekend, so we thought that was why she had gotten fat. Boy were we surprised. She had them December 15th at 2:32 in the afternoon and she had the last one at 3:30 the following morning, another long night dog watching. She had 9 total with 4 girls and 5 boys they are all black with white tipped toes and some have a white stripe acrossed their chest. We are at a loss as to who the father is.

Devon, Charlene, and Maria stoped in for a visit last night. There must be something about the house that makes kids want to run around and round, because that is what my kids do and that is exactly what Maria did last night as well with Olivia right behind her to make sure she didn't fall or get hurt. Then Dev and Charlene went up to Den and Penny's for dinner and Maria stayed to play. We colored and played with Will's Disney Cars cars on a little race track that he has. It was a lot of fun for Olivia and Will and Maria too they ran around til they left. I bet she slept really good last night, I know Olivia and Will did they like their little cousin. It was hard work getting these pictures too, she doesn't stay still long. They wore me out just watching them if only I had a quarter of their energy that would be awesome.

We were on out way up to Denny's grandfather's funeral up in Williamsport on Friday and this is what we found along the way. It was laying along Interstate 80 just up from the 123 on ramp. The first picture is of the dead one obviously and the other picture is of its cub hiding in the woods waiting for its mother to come back and not knowing why she isn't. In the process of trying to get its picture we chased it away from the road and up over the hill. Denny then called the Clearfield state police and they got in contact with the game commission to take care of it. The police said that they sometimes give the meat away if there is nothing wrong with it. Just think it made it through bear season just to get hit along the road.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!! Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!! Well my most favorite time of the year has arrived late fall into early winter weather. The more snow the better is what I think. I'm done trapping for the year, too cold for Will to be riding the 4 wheeler around checking traps at 8 in the morning, so done again for another year. Next year will be better I hope, I'll be able to trap longer because Will will be going to Kindergarden.

Well this year I haven't done real well, but the season isn't over yet. Total I have caught 2 raccoons, 2 skunks, 2 opossums, and 2 cats (didn't take pictures of the cats). I have caught the raccoons over at Dan's corn along with 1 opossum. The skunks: 1 over behind Jack Millers property and the other one between Lynnwoods and Kenny Felgers place also 1 opossum there as well. The cats were where the skunks were 1 in each place. For those of you wondering if I shot the cats or let them go I let them go and let me tell you it wasn't easy either.

Well it is that time of the year againg TRAPPING SEASON!!!!! And so far I have only caught one raccoon over in Dan's corn. I have tree traps there and haven't caught anything in the last two days, although I have had my traps robbed and one is getting stepped on by deer. I would have never known had it not snowed the last two days, so now I will move it down away from where they are walking. Well off to reset and move the traps, had to wait for it to warm up Will gets too cold and Olivia stayed home from school today, she wasn't feeling well, but now she is felling better. I hope so because she is worried about missing the Fall fun Fest and parade at school tomorrow. I will post pictures of her and Will dressed up later and maybe something that I caught if I get lucky (nothing to gross that just isn't right).

Well this week Denny started working for Lynnwood driving water truck. This is the truck he gets to drive they just got finished putting on the finishing touches so it could go out today. Denny couldn't wait for the truck to get done. They have been working on it all week and longer than that. Yesterday they got to try it out, there was a fire up by Randy Smith's house (not his house). All three trucks loaded up with water and hauled it up to the fire men trying to help. They get up there and they didn't need them but the fire men came to Jack's pond to get water and they hauled it up. Nobody can say that Kiester Trucking isn't there to help out when they can what a good bunch of guys they are!!!!!!!!!

On Saturday we went to Bennezette to see the elk. This is not the biggest one we saw but is the best picture I took of one looking straight on. We saw about 100 elk, about 6 or 7 of them were bulls. The kids like to go they named this one Elliot from the movie "Open Season". It was a great day to go the weather was perfect, wasn't too cold, although it was pretty windy at times up there on the hill side at the one viewing area we stopped at.

These two young 4 wheeler riders are getting braver. These were taken at the sawdust pile over the hill by Rob and Dawn Smith's house. They had fun going up and down that is the low side they aren't allowed to go up any other side, for those who have been on the sawdust pile you know how steep it is. I watched from a distance (makes me too nervous).
