This picture is of a mother black bear believe it or not. We were pn our way home from Denny's moms house taking the long way home and on this one road I just happen to be looking out the window and saw this black thing. At first I thought it was just a black dog, then it hit me BEAR!!! It was pretty cool, she had 4 cubs with her. The sad part was this is the only picture that came close to coming out right. It was around 9 .m. and my batteries were going dead so the flash wasn't as bright as it could have been. But Olivia and Will got to see them and they were amazed. I would have to say that is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

Last night Denny went fishing at Cloe Lake while I took the kids to tee ball practice. Around 8:30 he called I asked him if he got a whooper just joking around and surprised me with his answer of yeah. It is a brown trout, close to 18 inches long. Today I took it to the taxidermist to be mounted, it should be back next year sometime. He was really excited he caught with his fly fishing rod with an ant.

This weekend was beautiful. Olivia and Will were flying kites and riding their 4-wheeler up on Gram's hill. Olivia had good time flying here kite she even got a little sun because her cheeks and forehead were red yesterday. Will had more fun riding the 4-wheeler than flying his kite so I flew it for him just for something to do while they did their thing. We had to go up there it was entirely to muddy at our house. But I hope everyones weekend was as nice as ours was. Can't wait for more just like it!!

Officer, this is how the fight started...

I rear ended the car in front of me. I admit that. It was my fault.

So, we both pull over to the side of the road, and slowly the driver of the car I hit gets out of his car... and you know how you just-get-soooo-stressed.... and life... sometimes life seems like.... suddenly funny.

Well the dirver of the car I hit is a DWARF! He gets out of his car and I get our of my car.

He is frowning and sxowling and he storms over to me. Right up close at me he looks up in face and says "I AM NOT HAPPY!"

And I don't know what possessed me officer, but I look down at him and I said "Well, if you're not Happy -- Which one are you?"

....and that's when the fight started

This did not happen to me my aunt sent this to me, I thought that it was, just down right funny, and I thought that I would pass it along to those who need a good chuckle!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying the snow as much as Olivia, Will, Denny, and Den are. On Saturday the snow was the perfect kind to make snowballs and snowmen. Denny and the kids were out on the 4 wheeler checking some corn that they had put out for the deer and they must have run into Den because when they came back to the house, they were covered in snow. I asked what happened and they said they had a snowball fight with Pappy and then they built this snowman and said that I had to go take some pictures, so I did and thought that I would post them. Olivia and Will named him Frosty, they did a really good job, it is over 5 feet tall at least because it is taller than me. The wind must have been really blowing beacuse yesterday good ol' Frosty was leaning a little bit.

My cousin sent this picture to me with the subject line of "One reason trampolines can be dangerous in the country". I'm not sure who sent her the picture but wouldn't it be neat to see that in your backyard. I would like that, especially in deer season, but I can't get that lucky.
